What You’ll Do: 

  • Provide Expert Care: Deliver high-quality veterinary care to a diverse range of animal patients. Perform diagnostic procedures, administer treatments, and provide care with precision and compassion. 
  • Educational Support: Work alongside veterinary students and residents, offering hands-on training and guidance. Share your expertise to enhance their learning experience and prepare them for successful careers. 
  • Clinical Duties: Manage patient records, perform laboratory tests, and operate diagnostic equipment. Ensure all procedures are conducted with the highest standards of care.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with animal owners and foster a supportive environment for clients and their pets.

Qualifications: 

  • Education & Certification: Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology or equivalent. Current license as a Veterinary Technician in the state of Alabama or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire required. 
  • Experience: We welcome candidates who are passionate about medicine, teaching, and learning. New graduates are encouraged to apply, and we are committed to fostering the growth of less experienced applicants. 
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a compassionate approach to animal care. 

Scheduled hours and responsibilities will vary based on the role. We have a variety of specialty services available and as our college continues to grow, we have new positions open regularly in a variety of services. We also have temporary positions (TES) available, which can be a great way to showcase your skillset!
